What is Islamic Online University?
 Islamic Online University is the online version of the Islaamic Studies Academy’s accredited BAIS(Bachelor of Arts in Islamic Studies) program, which is the only accredited BAIS program of studies available on the internet. It consists of two facets:
1. A series of free short courses which will be on topics of immediate and practical relevance and benefit to the students. It will also introduce students who wish to pursue an accredited BA in Islamic Studies to the methodology of the BAIS program, as a free trial run.
2. The other facet will be the full-fledged formally accredited Islamic Studies (Usool Ad-Deen) Degree Program in English (BAIS). This will be taught completely Online. Course Material, provided online, will consist of written material of the basic text being taught plus Audio and Video Lectures of classes conducted in the ISA-Doha, or elsewhere The Islamic Online University has recently finalized its accreditation with Omdurman Islamic University which offers a variety of disciplines including the discipline of Usool ud-Deen (Fundamentals of Islamic Studies) |

Bachelor of Arts in Islamic studies The goal of this program is to provide English-speaking Muslims (and non-Muslims) with a rare opportunity to obtain an academically and Islaamically sound, formally accredited Islamic Studies (Usool Ad-Deen) Degree in English (BAIS) completely Online.Course Material will consist of written material of the basic text being taught plus Audio and Video Lectures of classes conducted in the ISA-Doha, or elsewhere.

Diplomas & Certificates
Diplomas will be granted for the completion of all the courses offered in a given subject of the BAIS program. |

Free CoursesA series of free courses arranged into an organized program of study wherein students who follow the recommended sequence will embark on a study program guided by Dr Bilal Philips himself. The program provides an introduction to the basic Islamic sciences and insight into the manhaj or way of the Prophet (pbuh) as embodied in the Qur'aan and authentic Sunnah in accordance with the understanding of the first generation. Some of the courses will be on topics of immediate and practical relevance to the students. The free course of study will also introduce students who wish to pursue an accredited BA or MA in Islamic Studies to the methodology of the BAIS program.
