An Invitation to write articles on Psychology and Islam

We would like to get YOU involved!
If you think you are capable of writing short but informative and engaging articles on Psychology and Islam, then we want to hear from you NOW! If you are a professional in any field, and would like to combine your expertise and knowledge with Psychology, please contact us.


  1. We accept article submissions from anyone who can add relevant content to our pages.
  2. We also accept articles that have been published previously elsewhere.
  3. Or, your post must be original and not previously published either on the Web or in print.
  4. We do not have any restrictions on the length of the article. Your article does not necessarily have to be long - If you have any idea or thought worth sharing, you can write a short article (4 paragraphs) and send it to us.
  5. Article Formatting:
    • Please write your article in a Word document, with no fancy formatting or fonts. Simple Times New Roman 12pt. font, or whatever the default is on your computer, is fine.
    • Include a line break after each paragraph
    • Do not indent.
    • Do not use HTML tags in your article
  6. Please title your article. IOU may decide to change it at publication time (as required)
  7. If you are referring to any websites, please provide links for substantiation
  8. If possible, provide some information about why you think your article would be important and advantageous to be published
  9. Incorporate relevant Islamic quotes, whether you derive your inspiration from the seerah or noble verses of the Qur’an, please include proper reference.


  1. IOU will likely edit your articles for grammar, punctuation, spelling, Islamic correctness etc.
  2. If IOU makes substantive changes (which is unlikely), the article will be emailed back to you for your approval before posting.
  3. IOU may provide a short introduction or conclusion to your articles to provide context or the rationale as to why we think the article is important.

  2. Due to the volume of submissions, it usually takes 2–3 weeks to respond. We thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.
  3. If your article is not published, please don't stop sending. Acceptance depends on a variety of factors, including timeliness, style, and any number of editorial requirements of the moment that may not necessarily reflect on your writing ability.
  4. You will be notified when your article is published.
