Samir B. Belhaouari holds a PhD in Mathematical Sciences: Stochastic processes and applications from the Federal Polytechnic School of Lausanne, (EPFL), Switzerland; and an MSc in Networks and Telecommunications: Signal/Image Processing from the National Polytechnic Institutes (INP/ENSEEIHT), France.
Br. Samir has an extensive teaching and supervising experience. He held positions such as an acting dean of College of Science; a head of Mathematics Department at College of Science, Alfaisal University; an assistant professor at Fundamental Applied Science Department, University of Technology of PETRONAS (UTP); a coordinator and lecturer of Engineering Mathematic; a research assistant at the Laboratory of Stochastic Processes, Federal Polytechnic; an internal and external examiner for PhD/Master thesis. He developed a Bachelor Computer Science Courses Program at Alfaisal University and a Math Peer Tutoring Program (MPTP).
He is also an author and a coauthor of publications such as Pre-Calculus: for Engineering and IT Students, Recent Advances In multiuser MIMO, An Advanced MIMO Precoding Technique for WiMAX, and Visual Information Processing in Wireless Sensor Networks: Technology, Trends and Applications. The following are only few examples of journals that published Br. Samir’s articles: The Scientific World Journal, The Arabian Journal for Science and Engineering (AJSE), Journal of Mathematical Problems in Engineering, International Journal of Pure and Applied Mathematics (IJPAM), Oxford Journal, Electronic Journal of Probability. Br. Samir holds an USA/Malaysia patents for Face Classification for Verification Approaches and New Algorithm for Classification.
Various awards from Malaysia, Switzerland and South Korea recognized Br. Samir’s outstanding skills and works, among them are: Outstanding Service Award (first position) (2014) and Outstanding Teaching Award (second position) (2014) at Alfaisal University; Mathematic Award at the National Mathematical Modeling Competition (2012), Malaysia; Gold Medal at the Geneva exhibition (2011), Switzerland; Silver Prize at Seoul International Invention Fair (2010).
Br. Samir is a senior member of the International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology (IACSIT), Singapore; and a member of Swiss Mathematical Society (SMS), Switzerland and the International Association of Engineers (IAENG), Hong Kong. Currently, Br. Samir is an adjunct professor at the Radiological Technologies University-VT (RTUVT), Indiana; a consultant and associate professor at INNOPOLIS University Kazan-Russian Federation; and a vice dean for Academic & Student Affairs at College of Science, ALFAISAL University.
Naveed Ahmed Khan holds an MSc/Mphil in Computer Science from the University of Management & Technology Lahore. He is a full IEEE professional member and an executive committee member (ExCom) of the IEEE Lahore section, and also acts as a Membership Development Chair (MDC). Br. Naweed is an assistant professor at the University of Lahore in the Computer Science & IT department. Currently, he is pursuing his PhD in Computer Science from UCP.
Azka holds a Master in Information Technology from the Central University of Kashmir. Her research papers were presented at prestigious conferences such as the International Seminal on ICT and value Education: Issues and Challenges (2014) and National Conference (2014). Sr. Azka also worked on various projects such as Automation of Examination System of Central University of Kasmir, Employee Salary System, and Banking and Hospital Management System.
Kazeem Adesina Dauda holds a Master of Science in Statistics from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. Br. Kazeem has an extensive experience in teaching Statistics and Probability. He is an assistant registration officer and presiding officer for the Ogbaru and Onitsha South local governments. Currently, he is an assistant lecturer of the Statistics and Mathematical Sciences at the Kwara State University, Malete, Ilorin Kwara State, Nigeria.
Fashola Olayinka Nurudeen holds a Master's degree in Information Technology and an MBA in Management from the University of Lagos. He has the following qualifications: Six Sigma Black Belt Professional (SSBB), Business Process Management Professional (BPMP), Information Technology Service Management (ITSM), and Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD). Br. Fashola has an extensive experience in product specialization and development, process design and implementation, software development and database administration as well as IT training. Br. Fashola is currently working as a manager of product development at the EMTS – Etisalat Nigeria Ltd.
Hashir N.A holds a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems from the Manipal University and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering. Br. Hashir has an extensive experience in publishing applications on Google Play and Apple Apps store; developing mobile and table application for android and iphone/ipad; and designing, coding, testing and maintenance of software development. Android Prayer Time, Poetry4u, ScreenON and SPL Meter are among his personal applications apart those developed for various companies all over the world. Currently, he is working as an independent contractor for mobile apps and android developing.
Hassan Seif holds an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Dodoma, and a Bachelor of Science with Computer Science from the University of Dar es Salaam. He has an extensive teaching, researching and writing experience. Currently he is working for the Dodoma University at the College of Informatics and Virtual Education as an Assistant Lecturer and examination officer for the Department of Computer Science. His research interest includes Data Analytics, ICT4Health and ICT4 Education.
Humakousar Sangreskop holds a Master of Computer Application from the BVB College of Engineering and Technology, Hubli, and a Bachelor in Computer Application from the AIIS & Management, Dharwad. She also has a Certificate in Android Development Using Java Technologies and Certificate in Web Component Development Using ASP.NET. Furthermore, the BVB College of Engineering and Technology awarded her a silver medal for securing the 2nd place in MCA, 2013; and in 2010, the AIISM College gave her the “Best Girl” award. Sr. Humakousar is a competent and highly talented lecturer. She currently lectures for the Anjuman Institute of Information Science and Management, Dharwad, as an information technology lecturer.
Osama Abushama holds an MSc in Computer Science from the Griffith College, Dublin, and an MSc in Control Engineering from the Kuwait University. He is an experienced software engineer, unix administrator, domino administrator on multiplatforms and skilled in server performance. Currently, Br. Osama is an advisory software engineer and technical team leader for the IBM-Lotus development, Ireland, and a lecturer in computer science at Griffith College Dublin.
Saleena Binti V.E.O Abdul Kader holds a Master's degree in Computer Science with specialization in Software Engineering from the University Putra Malaysia, and BSc (Hons) in Computing and Information Systems from the Sunway College, Malaysia. Sr. Saleena has an extensive teaching experience. She has authored many publications including The Relationship of Social Intelligence with Flexible, Active, Cooperative and Problem-based Learning; The Mediating Influence of Dimensions of Social Intelligence on Student Centered Learning Orientation and Guided Discovery with Blogging for Assessment: A Student and Teacher Perspective. Sr. Saleena is currently tutoring at the Open University Malaysia.
Sharyar Wani holds an MA in Information Technology from the International Islamic University Malaysia where he was given an award for the Best Student, 2013. He has an extensive lecturing, researching and teaching experience. He co-authored several publications such as Impact of Parallel Projects Management, Critical information security challenges: An appraisal, and Risk management in parallel projects: Analysis, best practices and implications to DBrain (gDBrain) research project. Br. Sharyar is currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science from the International Islamic University Malaysia.
Farhan Karmali comes from Mumbai , India. A computer geek at heart, Farhan also has a passion for Islamic Studies and Dawah . Having obtained his Masters of Computer Application degree , Farhan now pursues BA in Islamic Studies at IOU. He works as a Virtual Learning Environment developer for IOU managing various Moodle instances and is now teaching Computer 101 where he aims to equip students with computer skills which they can use for studying Islam and spreading it.
Farhan has been involved in the Moodle community for over 3 years both as an administrator and a developer. Being a technology enthusiast he loves e-Learning and web technologies and how they can be used for the sake of Islam. Farhan has helped setup and customize a number of Moodle websites, He is a freelance eLearning consultant. He regularly reviews books and courses published at packtpub.com. Farhan has also worked as a Moodle consultant for a leading elearning company in Mumbai.
Having completed his dawah training from IRF in 2009 , Farhan has been attached with various dawah organizations across Mumbai , He conducts workshops related to socio-islamic life skills for teenagers and teaches playful children at weekend Islamic classes.
Farhan loves playing games and has recently started developing Islamic Learning apps for Android which are available for free download.
